Facilities

Since 2000, over £20 million has been invested in infrastructure and automation at our modern, purpose built packhouse.  During this time floor area has increased to over 120,000 square feet.  New facilities include dispatch and grading areas, staff canteen and car parking.  Increased automation and manufacturing execution systems have aided throughput and furthered the reduction of unit packing costs.  This degree of innovation is unprecedented in the industry and has moved Taypack a step closer to achieving the ultimate aim to have the most up-to-date potato packing operation in Europe.
